Here is the usual quick break-down of all six Super League fixtures taking place at the weekend - and there are some difficult decisions to make in Round 17...
Castleford Tigers v Huddersfield Giants
There's a West Yorkshire Derby on Thursday night – and we’re back at the Jungle!
It’s a battle between two sides near the bottom of the Super League table, but who will leave with bragging rights?
Castleford Tigers won their most recent Super League match against Huddersfield Giants (30-12 in Round 9) after losing seven in a row against them previously, snapping what was their longest ever run of defeats against the Giants.
The Tigers came close against the champions in Round 16 and have won a total of four games all year. Huddersfield, on the other hand, have only won two from a possible 16.
Weighted predictions: Tigers (4 points), Giants (6 points)
Leigh Leopards v Wigan Warriors
The Battle of Borough is back – and understandably, the Predictor weightings are evenly split for this mouthwatering clash.
It’s the Warriors who have won 11 of their last 12 Super League games against the Leopards…with the only exception coming in Round 1 earlier this season, when Leigh recorded a captivating and historic 1-0 win – the first time the Warriors had been held scoreless since March 2022.
Who wins this one?
Weighted predictions: Leopards (5 points), Warriors (5 points)
Salford Red Devils v Warrington Wolves
Warrington travel to face Salford this weekend, and as they look to regain momentum in the race to the Play-Offs, they are clear favourites in Predictor...
Weighted predictions: Red Devils (8 points), Wolves (2 points)
Hull FC v St Helens
Can the Black & Whites end their losing run at home on Saturday? It’s almost been one year since the hosts last tasted victory at the MKM Stadium, and standing in their way are a Saints side who have won their five of their last six outings.
With a place in the Play-Offs at stake, it could be anyone’s game…
Weighted predictions: Hull FC (5 points), Saints (5 points)
Wakefield Trinity v Catalans Dragons
Wakefield Trinity v Catalans Dragons
It’s another game of high importance between two sides sitting just outside the top six.
Wakefield have enjoyed more success than their opponents in 2025; although when the sides last played one another, it was the Dragons who snatched a 24-20 victory in Golden Point extra-time. Therefore, there’s no doubt Trinity will be planning on seeking their revenge.
The French side have won each of their last 12 Super League games against Wakefield by an average margin of 19 points, their joint-longest winning run against any team in the competition.
Weighted predictions: Trinity (4 points), Dragons (6 points)
Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos
Finally, Round 17 concludes with a cracker as 1st and 3rd meet on Sunday in East Hull.
The Rhinos almost overcame the Robins back in Round 9, but a late Mikey Lewis match-winner would clinch victory for the current league leaders.
It’s Hull KR who have won each of their last six Super League games against Leeds, but each of those victories have only come by margins of 10 points or fewer.
Willie Peters’ men have won 15 of their first 16 games in Super League, their most ever at this stage of a season, while Brad Arthur’s team have won six of their last seven league outings.
A game of the highest intensity is expected, and it stands a 5 points apiece in Predictor. But who will come away with the two league points?
Weighted predictions: Robins (5 points), Rhinos (5 points)
